Netherlands was surprised by Denmark suffering their first defeat with the final score at 1-0 at Metalist Stadium on Saturday to kick start its Euro 2012 campaign in dreadful fashion.

Denmark’s Michael Krohn surprised Holland with a 24th minutes goal in one of his finest forms against the powerhouse Holland. Netherland’s star striker from Arsenal, Robin Van Persie could do nothing against the defense of Denmark.

The Dutch failed so many chances especially those attacked that was spearheaded by Van Persie.
