Black-Eyed-Peas vocalist Will.i.am is one of the few personalities who was chosen to carry the Olympic Flame as it traverse England countryside as a signal that the Olympic Flame is already in London for the upcoming major sporting events in the world today, the Olympics.

There were some questions what are the reasons behind why Will.i.am was able to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay. A total of 8,000 personalities will carry the torch starting until the opening days of the 2012 London Olympics this coming July 27, 2012 after 70-days of travel around England.

Will.i.am was chosen by his proud sponsor Coca-Cola to graced the events. Selections of the 8,000 torch bearers were made by recommendations to the Olympic committees.

The Black-Eyed-Peas singer was the 109th runner in the 70 day, 8000 mile run. During the event, the singer was also busy updating his Twitter accounts with regards to his accomplishments of being one of the Olympic Torch bearers.
