The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics to score a lead against the Boston Celtics who were visiting at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals ended in a low-scoring ball-game with the final score at 93-79.
The Celtics were unable to depend against the surging Heat of the team being manned by Filipino-American Coach Erik Spoelstra. Reigning MVP LeBron James exploded with a total of 32 point and 13 rebounds while Dwyane Wade added with an impressive 10 points of his 22 points output all scored in the fourth quarter.
Miami’s Shane Battier who played for his first-ever finals appearance for the Heat contributed with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The conference finals for Miami Heat is their third straight finals appearance.
Boston Celtics was led by Kevin Garnett who scored with 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Boston. Rajon Rando on the other hand contributed with 16 points, nine rebounds and seven assists while Paul Pierce made 12 points. Ray Allen’s magic was absent, he only managed to shot 1 for 7 from the floor for Boston.
